Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring cannabinoid derived from the cannabis and hemp plant.  CBD has been widely studied by many scientists and doctors who have uncovered it's many possible benefits.

What are the benefits?

Many people have reported a wide range of benefits from CBD such as stress relief, Improved sleep, pain relief, and an overall healthy, balanced system.

How does it work?

CBD helps maintain homeostasis in our Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS plays a crucial role in regulating a broad range of physiological processes that affect our everyday life such as our mood, our energy level, our digestive system, immune activity, blood pressure, how we experience pain, stress, hunger, and more.

Is it legal?

Yes it is in fact legal, here is a passage taken directly from the USDA.gov website. "The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (2018 Farm Bill) authorized the production of hemp and removed hemp and hemp seeds from the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) schedule of Controlled Substances. Will it show up on a drug test?

This is a tricky one, yes and no. If the drug test is specifically testing for the THC molecule then you will be in the clear using a CBD ISOLATE product. Make sure you request lab results to ensure there is in fact 0% THC present. Some CBD products on the market are "full spectrum" and may have trace amounts of THC present (no more than 0.03% by law for "hemp products") but possibly enough to show on a drug screening.
